Terms and Conditions
Pawsome Visits – Terms & Conditions
By arranging an appointment with Pawsome Visits, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
Please read carefully to avoid extra fees.
1. Payment
Payment is required upon completion of the appointment. We accept cash or card payments only. Payment cannot be made by bank transfer, cheque, or at a later date.
2. Matting
We do not untangle matted hair as it can cause discomfort or pain to your pet. Your pet’s welfare is our top priority.
During check-in, we will discuss suitable options if your dog’s coat is matted.
Pawsome Visits accepts no responsibility for vet fees arising from health issues (e.g., skin sores) revealed when clipping a matted coat.
A matting form may need to be signed for severely matted dogs, and additional charges (£10+) may apply for heavy matting requiring a full shave.
3. Pregnancy & Season
For the welfare of your pet:
Dogs that are in season or pregnant cannot be groomed.
If your dog is in season upon arrival, the service will be declined, and the appointment must still be paid.
Dogs that have recently been in season must wait 2 weeks after bleeding has stopped before grooming.
Pregnant dogs must wait until puppies are weaned (usually 5–7 weeks).
4. Parasites
For the safety and welfare of all pets:
Dogs with fleas may have their appointment rescheduled. Please treat your dog 48 hours prior to the appointment.
If fleas are discovered during grooming, the groom will continue using flea shampoo, and a £15 fee will apply for time and disinfecting equipment.
Ticks found during grooming will be removed free of charge.
5. Cancellations
24 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling.
Failure to provide notice or missed appointments will incur a £20 cancellation fee, payable before future bookings.
Repeat offenders may be required to pay the full fee upfront or may have services declined.
6. Agreement
By booking an appointment with Pawsome Visits, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
